RECORD STORE DAY DROPS (AUG. 29, SEPT. 26, OCT. 24)

Join us for RECORD STORE DAY DROP #2, SEPT. 26!

Here we go again!
On September 26th, the 2nd of 3 Record Store Day Drops begins.
We will open at 9am.

Special performance by our very own Ponytails & Cocktails as they celebrate their RSD release of “Big Blue Wave”. They will be performing outside on the patio at 3pm. This performance will be socially distanced in our parking lot and live streamed (details coming). Please be respectful of others space and know that this performance will take place weather permitting.

We will be using our normal single file line/menu ordering style with a few changes. We will only be allowing 6 people in the shop at a time. We are asking that you keep the browsing to a strict minimum during the morning rush so that we can get everyone through the shop in a safe and timely manner. If there are things you are interested in other than RSD items, we ask that you please visit our Discogs page to view our NON-RSD inventory. You can then place an order through us for in-store pickup on Record Store Day ahead of time. We welcome you to come back later in the day if you are interested in browsing the shop.

(*please note, NO RSD items will be available on our Discogs page until 1pm 9/26/20).

Record Store Day Drops is a first come, first served event. No holds or reserves. Quantities are very limited! We always post the list of titles we received the week of RSD on our website.

Everyone’s safety is of the highest priority. Masks will be a must.

Thank you so much for the continued support, see you then!

Official statement from RSD:

"Since 2008, Record Store Day has grown into the world’s largest single-day music event, shining a light on the culture of the indie record store across the globe. In 2020, that world is different, so Record Store Day will be too. RSD is now scheduled to be celebrated with special, properly distanced release dates on Saturdays in August, September and October.

Record Store Day will look very different this year, but supporting indie record stores may be more important than ever. We don't know what sort of rules will be in place, or what sort of gatherings people will be in the mood for this year, so we're focusing on the music and getting the really great titles on the RSD Official List this year into the stores and into your hands, in the most financially and socially responsible way.

The titles on the RSD 2020 Official List, launched on March 5th, will be released at participating record stores on one of these three RSD Drops: August 29th, September 26th, and October 24th."
